Woodcuts and Linocuts
Enjoy these original woodcuts and linocuts I designed and carved between 2005 and 2012. I use various types of wood for carving the woodcut–poplar, oak, pine, and even plywood. A linocut is a carving into the surface of a piece of linoleum. Both blocks give a very clear black and white image. I print all my prints by hand–meaning I ink the block, lay the soaked paper on the block, then rub the block with a wooden spoon to transfer the image. These are all limited editions for your unique art experience. Feel free to ask me questions. I have some of these images available hand-printed on shirts. Prints will be mailed in a sturdy cardboard mailing tube or a flat cardboard envelope for safe mailing.
