“Waiting for the Green Flash” (Woodcut)
When visiting Key West with my husband, we were told that at the moment the sun set below the horizon, a green flash erupts so quickly you might miss it if you blinked. I’ve seen hundreds of sunsets since that day, and though I’ve never really seen the “green flash” I look for it every time the sun sets and try not to blink. Sometimes, I think I see it.
