“May the Road Rise to Meet You”  (Linocut)

This is the first verse of the Irish blessing I have always loved.  It is a great outlook to perceive the road rising to you or the wind being always at your back.  We are free to choose our own paths in life, but isn’t it great when the right opportunities present themselves to us?  We look ahead and imagine what is around the next corner, but we don’t know until we get there.  To me, this linocut carving represents the opportunity we may find around the corner.
