Description

Generally, the messages in my art are subtle, hinting at the beauty or interesting features of nature.  When asked to come up with a design for the Maryland Heartland Sustainable Living Fair 2010, I jumped at the chance to spell out our mission.  I designed the image on paper, and then carved it in a block of linoleum.  This is an original limited edition linocut print.  My hope is that this image will inspire thought regarding all the ways we can lead less wasteful lives.  Count the various ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle the items shown on this print—and that’s only the beginning.
